    Jean Taillon, President & Chief Executive Officer Add this

    Responsible for the strategic vision and for the continued growth and profitability of G4S Secure Solutions (Canada), Jean is a bilingual senior executive with a strong and tested background in operations, marketing and sales.

    A catalyst for change, Jean is a creative entrepreneurial leader who motivates and builds strong teams that have a reputation for delivering a total quality customer experience. His philosophy is Lead, Drive, Grow and Deliver.

    Previously Jean was President and CEO of Connexim, a Bell owned Managed Services and Outsourcing Company. Prior to this he was Senior Vice President of Bell Customer Operations and has held several senior executive roles in marketing, sales and operations for AT&T Canada, Motorola and Nortel.

    Jean holds a Masters Degree in Engineering as well as an Executive MBA from the University of Toronto. He is an active member in the community participating as the President & Chair of the Board of ProAction Cops & Kids, Director with The Art Gallery of Hamilton and Canadian Stage Company.

    In his spare time, he frequently lectures for the EMBA program at the Rotman School of Business.

    Tim Saunders, Vice President of Customer Solutions, National Sales Add this

    Tim Saunders is the Vice President of Customer Solutions and National Sales for G4S Secure Solutions (Canada) Ltd. Mr. Saunders holds the overall responsibility for organic growth and maintaining strategic vertical solutions to national clients. Mr. Saunders has over 17 years of experience in various executive sales positions. He was the country manager for SpinVox, the golobal leader in voice-to-screen messaging between 2007 to 2009 which he was responsible for driving market growth with major carriers such as Rogers Wireless, Bell Canada, SaskTel and TELUS.

    Prior to his position at SpinVox, Mr. Saunders held numerous senior positions with Bell Canada in their Enterprise and Infrastructure divisions, including General Manager for a large part of Bell's ICT Infrastructure organization where he was responsible for managing significant increases in revenues.  Mr. Saunders was also Director of National Sales within Bell's Enterprise Markets – generating significant growth in five years.

    Brian Hinton, Chief Financial Officer & Vice President of Finance Add this

    Acting in the role of Vice President of Finance for G4S Secure Solutions (Canada) Ltd., reporting to the President, Brian is responsible for all aspects of the company’s financial reporting including satisfying the information needs of a diverse national group of stakeholders.

    With over 15 years of experience leading Canadian and international corporations, Brian specializes in all areas of corporate reporting, operational finance support, corporate income tax management and internal auditing.

    Prior to working with G4S, Brian occupied senior financial roles with Rogers Media, Honeywell Ltd. and Superior Propane.

    Brian has been a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Ontario since 1992.

    Piero Romani, Chief Technology Officer, Vice President Eastern Region Add this

    Mr. Romani is an industry veteran with over 20 years experience in Enterprise and Services industries, establishing  a proven track record in developing and growing sales and revenue streams for major customers. He also has extensive experience in the launch and management of several start-up divisions.

    Currently, Mr. Romani is Chief Technology Officer and Regional Vice President Eastern Region for G4S Secure Solutions (Canada) Ltd. In this capacity Mr. Romani is responsible for formulating the company’s national strategy in regard to technology platforms, as well as handling the Eastern Region. Prior to this, Mr. Romani was Managing Director of Plan Technology, the IT Consulting and Managed Services division of Plan Group. His recent achievements included developing and launching the Plan Technology Managed Services business.

    During the course of his career, Mr. Romani has been recognized as a leader in the technology market place and as a technology Visionary for his respective organizations. As a result, he has participated as keynote speaker at numerous industry events as well as participating in various media and communications events on behalf of his Companies.

    David Ferguson, Regional Vice President Windsor/London/Kitchener Add this

    As Senior Regional Vice President, David is responsible for the development and service of all new and existing business in Windsor, London, Kitchener and surrounding markets.

    David joined the organization in January of 1995. Prior to joining G4S he spent 14 years with a large international security organization.

    David holds a certificate in Human Resource Management and Labour Relations and is currently an instructor with the Law and Security Administration/ Police Foundations Program at the St. Clair College of Applied Arts and Technology.

  • Doug Durant

    Doug Durant, Regional Vice President, Western Canada Add this

    With over 24 years in the service industry, the last 15 being in security management, Doug joined G4S Secure Solutions (Canada) Ltd. in the summer of 2001. Doug has worked and volunteered in a number of positions in the policing and security management industry.

    Holding various operational roles in his tenure, based in Calgary, Doug is responsible for the overall management of the Western Canadian Division from British Columbia to Manitoba.

    Throughout the world, the Certified Protection Professional (CPP) designation is acknowledged as the security profession's highest recognition of practitioners. It’s awarded based on experience and passage of an examination that provides an objective measure of an individual's broad-based knowledge and competency in security management.
