We are very pleased and proud to have been selected by CATSA to provide screening services to the Pacific Region. We look forward to meeting and getting to know each and every one of you, and working with CATSA to develop what we know will be a long and mutually beneficial relationship.
We already had the pleasure of meeting some of you on Wednesday August 10th at Vancouver International Airport and we understand that any type of employment transition can be stressful. Your welfare and well being is very important to us at G4S.
Although the transition process is going to be complicated, and there is lots to do before November 1st, we will make sure everything will be ready before then. In the coming weeks, you will receive further information on our organization, the transition process, and further communication on what to expect from G4S. I will be visiting you during upcoming organized town hall meetings around the province. I would also like to take this opportunity to introduce you to Remco Loevendie, our Pacific Region Chief Operating Officer (COO).
Our G4S Human Resources Transition Team, headed by Pamela MacLellan, VP HR Canada, will be visiting the CATSA airport sites. The HR Team visits will provide you with a Welcome Package that includes employment offer letters and other information to ensure a smooth transition, including timely payment of your wages. Please be rest assured that our employment offers are equal to the monetary compensation you now receive. We realize you are currently represented by a variety of unions; the union process will also be considered in the weeks leading up to the transition. Our intention is to form good relations with everyone.
